CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru with conducted a two day annual Education cum Counseling fair - DAKSH on 2nd December at the pathway.

Every department, each headed by a group of students from the department act as the mentors for the young minds in providing them an insight into the various courses they can opt for post +2/PUC or Undergraduate courses. This year too, The Department of International Studies and History set up a stall near Block 1 beautifully decorated with pictures, charts, posters and flags of different nation providing all relevant information to the students who aspired to pursue the course. Anna, Saagar, Sukanya and Neha represented the department from MAIS. There was also map game organized for the students who came to the stall to give them a better insight into what they will actually be studying in the course. Other faculty members and the NAAC team had come to the University visited the stall. Many students from Junior College and other UG courses visited our stall. The stall received an overall positive response from the audience as a whole making the department feel optimistic about more students who would pursue the course in coming academic year.
